Terms & Conditions

These terms set out the basis on which Temperidas ("we", "us", "our") accepts timepieces for service and how we work with clients. By leaving a watch with us for assessment or service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully and contact us if anything is unclear before the work begins.

1. About us

Temperidas is a watch repair workshop located at 256 Nimmanhaemin Road, Suthep, Chiang Mai 50200, Thailand. You can contact us at [email protected] or on +66 53 218 470.

2. Bringing a watch to us

When you bring or send a watch to the workshop for assessment, we will inspect it and give you an honest description of its condition and the work we believe would be appropriate. We will not begin any work until we have discussed it with you and you have confirmed you would like to proceed.

If conditions found during disassembly differ materially from the initial assessment, we will stop work, inform you, and discuss how to proceed before continuing. You are under no obligation to proceed with work at any stage before formal commencement.

3. Service pricing

Our published service prices are as follows:

• Quartz Battery & Seal Service — ฿3,900
• Bracelet & Case Refinishing — ฿14,000
• Collector's Overhaul — ฿34,000

Prices are quoted in Thai Baht. The quoted price covers the standard scope of each service as described on our website. Where an inspection reveals additional work that falls outside the standard scope, we will discuss any additional cost with you before proceeding.

4. Collection and turnaround

We will give you a realistic estimate of turnaround time when you leave the watch with us. Straightforward quartz services are often completed the same day. Complex work, including full mechanical overhauls, typically takes longer. We will contact you when the watch is ready for collection.

We ask you to collect your watch within 30 days of being notified that it is ready. If collection is delayed, please contact us to make arrangements. Watches left uncollected after 90 days without contact may be subject to a storage fee.

5. Your responsibility for the watch

When you bring a watch to us, we ask you to disclose any relevant history you are aware of — previous damage, water exposure, unusual behaviour, or prior repairs. This helps us assess the watch accurately and serve you well.

If a watch is left with us and we are later unable to reach the owner for an extended period, we will make reasonable efforts to contact them before taking any further action.

6. Our responsibility for the watch

We take reasonable care of every watch in our custody. We store pieces securely and handle them with appropriate attention throughout inspection and service work.

We are not liable for pre-existing faults, damage, or deterioration that existed before the watch was brought to us and that could not reasonably have been identified during initial inspection. Where a pre-existing fault becomes apparent during work, we will inform you before proceeding.

7. Payment

Payment is due upon collection of the watch. We will provide a receipt for all work completed. We accept cash and bank transfer; please ask about other payment methods when you visit. We reserve the right to retain a watch until payment for completed work is received.

8. Website use

The content on our website at temperidas.pro is provided for general information about our services. We make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate but cannot be responsible for any reliance placed on outdated information. Prices and service details may be updated from time to time; please confirm current details by contacting us directly.

You may not copy, republish, or adapt material from this website for commercial purposes without our written permission.

9. Limitation of liability

Our liability to you in connection with any service we carry out is limited to the fee paid for that service, except where Thai law imposes a greater liability that cannot be excluded. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from any service or from your use of this website.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes arising from our services or these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Terms in effect at the time you left your watch with us will govern that service relationship.
