Is your watch waiting for attention?

Bring it to the bench. We'll have a quiet look, tell you what we find, and let you decide what comes next — at your own pace.

— Why Temperidas —

What sets this bench apart

Honest assessment first

We look at your watch and explain what we find before any work begins. You know the scope and price before a single tool is picked up.

Unhurried pace

No production queue. Each piece sits on one bench, with one person. The work moves when it's ready to move, not to meet an arbitrary deadline.

Documented condition records

For overhauls we record measurements before and after. You leave with a written note of what was found, what was done, and how the movement is performing.

Appropriate tools for the work

Timegrapher readings, watchmaker's press, ultrasonic cleaner — the right instrument for each step, so nothing is forced or improvised.

Original character preserved

Refinishing follows the original surface lines. We don't over-polish or alter proportions. The aim is a tidy, cared-for appearance, not a freshly-minted one.

Accessible in Nimmanhaemin

The workshop is on Nimmanhaemin Road — easy to find on foot or by car. Walk-ins are welcome during opening hours; no appointment is strictly needed for a first look.

— Questions —

Frequently asked

Do I need an appointment to bring my watch in?

Walk-ins are welcome Monday through Saturday between 10:00 and 18:00. If you'd prefer to arrange a specific time, you're welcome to call or send a message in advance — we're happy to set aside a quiet slot.

How long does a battery and seal service take?

For most standard quartz models we can complete the service while you wait or within the same day. If your watch has an unusual case back or requires a special seal size, we may need an extra day or two to source the right part.

What does a full collector's overhaul involve?

The movement is taken apart completely, each component cleaned and inspected, worn parts replaced where necessary, then reassembled and lubricated to specification. We record timegrapher readings before and after, and you receive a written condition note. For chronograph or calendar complications, those are serviced within the same work order.

Will the refinishing change the look of my watch?

We work to match the original finish lines rather than impose a new look. Brushed areas stay brushed; polished areas are brought back to their original sheen. The aim is a well-kept appearance that remains consistent with how the piece left the factory.

How are prices determined?

The three services listed have fixed starting prices: ฿3,900 for a quartz battery and seal visit, ฿14,000 for case and bracelet refinishing, and ฿34,000 for a full overhaul. If any additional parts are needed — say, a worn mainspring or a damaged crystal — we'll show you the component and discuss the cost before proceeding.

Is my watch kept safe while it's with you?

Each watch left at the workshop is logged with a description and condition note at the point of drop-off. The workshop is secured outside opening hours. We treat every piece as something that matters to its owner, because that's exactly what it is.
